Pastor Merhawi-Sellaise Negusse, Principal Pastor

My name is Merhawi Neguise, and I am a pastor, writer and literary expert.

I accepted the Lord Jesus as Saviour and Lord of my life in a evangelical movement in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in the mid-eighties.

I first heard the good news on November 16 at the day celebrated Saint Mary. Then, I had the opportunity to learn the basics of the Lord Jesus Christ through the mouths of great teachers at the Holy Trinity Cathedral Church. Meanwhile, every Sunday we met with the young people in our neighbourhood, and we began to study the Bible in our parents' home. In those days, the people we met through our relatives, came from   Harar, and they taught me the word of God. It is very clear that all these opportunities have been played a great contribution to my spiritual life.

The moment I had converted, served the Lord as full time minister. this put me in a position of leadership without having knowledge of word of God and skill of administration. As a result, I had to go through difficult times over years, despite the grace of God has been empowered and me.

I now serve as the pastor of the church. I am also a writer. I have written eight books so far, and I have been the editor of several books.

Glory to be the name the Lord Jesus Christ!
